1920 Hassett Inc. is started in Chicago, IL as a moving company.
1969 Current corporate offices open in Elmhurst, IL.
1975 Hassett Air Express is started and becomes the Chicago-Land agent for Allied Air Freight
1980 Hassett comes under the ownership of Terry Sherman, Dominick Schiavone, Lee Bennett and Tom O'Reilly.
1981 Hassett handles Jet Magazine, the company's first recurring publication.
1981 A new operational facility opens for Western Region Operations.
1986 A new operational facility opens for Eastern Region Operations.
1988 A new operational facility opens for Southern Region Operations.
1998 Hassett receives initial ISO 9002 Certification.
2001 Hassett's Time Definite Alternative mode neutral transportation program is introduced.
2001 Hassett receives new ISO 9001 Certification.
2002 A new operational facility opens at Bensenville (Chicago-O'Hare).
2003 Hassett opens an expanded facility at a new location in San Francisco.
2003 Hassett's Household division is awarded the International FIDI-FAIM certification.
2004 Hassett's Commercial Moving and Storage Division receives ISO 9001 certification.
2005 Hassett Air Express celebrates 25 Years of Excellence.
2006 Chicago Operations moves in to a new facility with greater operational capacity in Elk Grove Village.
2006 Hassett is named one of "Inbound Logistics" Top Air Freight Forwarders in the U.S. (October 2006 issue).
2008 Hassett Air Express joins the SmartWaySM Transport Partnership, an innovative collaboration between U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the freight industry designed to increase energy efficiency while significantly reducing greenhouse gases and air pollution.
2008 Hassett becomes a member of Clean Air Counts, a public/private initiative to voluntarily improve air quality in the Chicago metropolitan region.
2009 Hassett Air Express names Donna O'Reilly Chief Financial Officer.
2010 Hassett Air Express celebrates 30th Anniversary.
